Tallow Cream vs. Body Balm vs. 100% Tallow: Which Talus Product Should You Choose?

Talus Skin

All three Talus moisturizers begin with tallow, but they feel different on skin. Choose by the texture you like, the ingredients you want, and whether you prefer added scent.

Choose Tallow Cream for an easy-to-spread texture

Talus Tallow Cream is an emulsified cream made with water, tallow, squalane, calendula-infused jojoba, and four botanical butters. It spreads easily over the body and feels lighter than a traditional tallow balm. Choose it when you want a rich cream and like the bright Sundrift scent.

Choose Body Balm for dry spots

Talus Tallow Body Balm is a water-free blend of tallow, calendula-infused jojoba oil, beeswax, and vitamin E. It is firmer than the cream and softens between your fingertips. Use a small amount on dry hands, elbows, knees, or heels. It contains no added perfume or essential oils.

Choose 100% Tallow for one ingredient

Talus 100% Tallow contains only deodorized, grass-fed beef tallow. It has a dense, oil-based feel. Start with a tiny amount on clean, dry skin and add more only if needed. It contains no added fragrance or essential oils.

Still deciding?

Start with the formula that matches the feel you prefer: a spreadable cream, a firmer balm for dry spots, or pure tallow with a short ingredient list. For a closer look at how cream and balm formulas differ, read Tallow Cream vs. Tallow Balm.
